just got the trial map but lost favs etc. on the loading, can i simply restore my backup?

i have not synce'd with Home yet

Tried that. Got my home back but no favorites.

Strange, that is the only method I know that works. It even includeds the data of your POIs enabled.

When I copy the file over and look at it, all the information is there. But turning the tomtom off and back on, wipes everything out but the home location.

Ah, run the flash tool. It should fix your problem.

BTW, what is the map version and build of the test map they sent you?

Tried the flash tool. Still doesn't save the favorites.

The map version is v5000.1687

I wonder if this has to do with the map they sent you to test out. It is a beta which may have a bug in it.

Well I tried everyting to make it work that I can think of. Even adding them by hand then copying the correct one over.

I also can not operate the my go720 through tomtom home. Tells me it needs to download a file that does not exist.

Wow, I wonder if other members who are testing out the map are having the same issues.
