still need help please

i am still confused a little how do you do a reset, and i have backup on my computer how do i get it back onto tt, right now there is nothing on it, thanks

pin reset on bottom of unit - insert something that will fit and hold for 10-15 seconds (unit should go off then re-boot).

You recover the files by selecting them all and click on COPY - NOT CUT.

Then go back to your TomTom device and PASTE at the root directory level - you would highlight the unit in Windows explorer (don't open it), and right click your mouse - it should offer the PASTE option - do it.

Try to start it up. You may have to do a pin reset if it hangs up - then try again.

Then turn it back on with the power button.
