Startup Preferences

Hi,
Everytime i disconnect my Tomtom one (v2 - new edition) from my computer (disconnected the proper way in Windows and Mac OSX) it always brings me to the "select language screen -->operating device with right/left hand -->distance display-->time display-->voice selection", preferences. Is there anyway to stop this from happening all of the time?

Its not a real problem, but it is kinda annoying to have to do this everytime I connect/disconnect my Tomtom to my PC or Mac.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Others with similar problems have solved them by running the "ClearFlash" utility from TomTom for their device. (Log into TomTom.com and you should be able to find the ClearFlash utility for your unit there [eventually, their site is not the best organized site I've ever seen].)
