If you're looking for other splash screens than the (rather boring) one your TomTom ships with, check out this site:

WWW.GOMO-WEB.DE

To use them, just rename the one you wish to use to 'Splash.bmp' and copy it over to the root of your TomTom, replacing the original one. Make sure to backup the old one first, should you ever wish to go back
