go740 freezes on splash screen

My battery was not charging so I ordered a new one. Changed the battery and now it freezes on the splash screen.

Tried resetting the unit? (not sure if it has a dedicated reset hole or whether you need to hold the power button about 10 seconds till the drum sounds.

reset it many times....still freezes at the splash screen.

ok...I deleted the splash screen picture and now it seems to be working fine.
