Search POI

I am sure I am missing something but I am not able to search poi just entering name. If I go into navigate to> poi> near home(or any other option)> without entering category, search poi - Doesnt matter what I try to find in there it says "no poi found".
I tried wallmart, wallgreen, anything... it doesnt find anything.
What is this function for if I cant find anything anything in it.

Just want to add that I dont find any other problem in poi. If I search by category it works just fine. Also I am able to see poi s on the map. It seems like I am doing something wrong.

When you search, are you selecting CATEGORY of 'shop' and then, for example, typing in Walmart using the Find button?

I know that Walmart will only show up if you type Wal-mart.

Try to use less letters for more results.

No I dont. Infact that was my question. Can I search poi's without selecting category?

No, but you can select the category of 'any category' and then 'Find'. Type in part of the name of the specific poi you are looking for and all of matching items in the entire database will appear.

You don't have to commit yourself to a specific category to do the search.
