Safety camera updates?

Hiya all. I'm not sure if this has been asked already. Is it normal to keep getting safety camera updates a few times a week? I noticed I started getting these updates without me adding or doing anything. TomTom Home just automatically updates the cameras for me. Did it become legal all of the sudden for us to be able to download USA safety cameras?

Are you sure it was (is) illegal to have them in the States?

It had said it on the TomTom website. Blah it doesn't matter really at the moment. Here in Tampa, FL they have installed TONS of cameras at many intersections now within the last 3 years and none show up on the TomTom anyways. They aren't red light cameras, but are live recording traffic cameras. I guess to record car accidents and stuff. Tampa ranks amongst the top 10 with the worst drivers anywhere.

Out of curiosity, Sage, can you try this?

Goto this site dl the first 2 poi sets and see if either shows up in and around Tampa.
