Rider 2 owner in the UK

Hi. I'll be looking in from the UK once in a while. I tend not to post in many forums but if this one can help out with the issues I often create for myself, then I hope it'll be time well spent.

I use my TomTom for the UK and France now, having taken a trip to the Nord Pas de Calais recently and found the sat nav invaluable. It's also used in my role as a volunteer rider for SERV, also known as the Blood Runners; volunteer out-of-hours couriers for theblodd transfusion service in the UK. I'll not abuse my first post with any more of a plug, though...

All I need to learn for now is where on earth(!) the favourites went when I backed the unit up...

Your favourites are kept in a file called MapSettings.cfg which is stored in the specific map folder. So, you usually are able to copy that file back (using Explorer) to the new map folder if you've upgraded it and get your favourites (and other custom settings) back.
