I am the (generally) happy owner of a GO 720 with the RDS-TMC receiver. I prefer mounting the tomtom on the dash near the centerline of the car rather than on the left side next to the a-frame - however, unless I want to run the traffic receiver cord right up the center of the windscreen, the cord connecting the receiver to the unit is simply too short to let me run the antenna up on the side.
Is there an extension cord out there that will work with the traffic receiver or has anyone had the same issue and worked out a solution? I'd definitely like to be able to have the antenna run up the side of the windscreen but still have the 720 where I currently have it set.
