what is the safest power supply to use on my tomtom? 3.1A or 4.8A

Please allow me to elaborate. In my motor I only have the one USB port, from which I generally run my tomtom. But I also need to charge my ageing iPhone. So was going to buy a dual usb that fits flush in the power outlet, but see there are two power outputs available 3.1A or 4.8A. So was wondering which I should buy
Thanks Deck1ng

The sat nav will only take what it needs. The bigger the output the more items you can connect.

And either one will be more than the TT will ever demand. I'd be surprised if your model takes more than 1.5A tops.

Hi. What voltage will my tomtom 6250 truck satnav take .. 12 or and 24v as i dont want to plug it into 24v if it will damage it. My snooper runs on both

The standard TomTom power adaptor is both 12 and 24v, they have been for many years. It will be clearly printed on the adaptor though so safest to check. The device itself is only 5v.
