Poi trouble

I have the 8.10 update installed on my Tomtom 3rd edition. I am trying to install a poi of the costco stores in the us. The file ending is .ov2. When I add it to the poi folder on my device, I noticed that all the files had an ending of .tlv. My costco poi doesn't show up on my device. Did tomtom change the file format for poi's?

Poi files with the extension of .ov2 go directly into whatever map folder you have on your unit. Is that what you meant by 'poi folder' in your post? If not, well........just move to the map folder and see if that makes a difference.

I have several folders on my device - maps, poi, logging, etc. When I downloaded the Trader Joe's poi through Home, it put Trader Joe's in the poi folder and it has an extension of .tlv. I tried putting the costco .ov2 in the map folder as you recommended and it still doesn't show up on my device. Is there anything else I can try?

Sorry - I had put the Costco ov2 in the maps folder, not the USA map folder. Now it works. Thanks for the help.
