POI.DAT File on my TomTom 920T

Can this file be modified?

It has several POI in it which show up on my map, but do not use branded BMP's, and I would like to add them properly, so that "Burger King" for example shows up not with the default BMP, but with the correct one which I will supply. The rest of the information about the BK's are there on the device already- only the icon is wrong. I want to fix that. Anyone know how?

I don't believe there's a way. Not only that but if you make a POI correction for mapshare it loses it's icon too. That kinda sucks.
