Old map, current update, disappointing map exclusions

I'm somewhat disappointed with my new XXL550 in that the map isn't very current. I've joined MapShare and accept all user changes. The highway 27 from Chattanooga, TN, to Lagrange, GA, had been improved to a divided highway with a speed limit of 65 MPH for maybe 8 years now and is still listed as a 45 MPH road. A connecting road in Lagrange with relatively medium volume, in existence for 10 years now isn't shown. It's incredible that given the numbers of TomToms sold in this area that no user has entered any MapShare updates including these road changes? How can the device calculate accurate routes with such outdated maps? TomTom Home seems to be working just fine.

You can make the speed changes on your device, of course, but also do so here:
tomtom.com/mapshare/tools

Hopefully, you'll see the change in a future map release (not 895 due sometime this month)???
