OK, I have Offroad Navigator 1.7b installed on my One 3rd Edition. I'm trying to configure the software, but don't understand what some of the parameters are for.
On the Setup screen:
I'm experimenting with using the One 3rd Edition during hikes, geocaching, etc. If you have any advice on the best Offroad Navigator parameter configuration for hiking, I'd like to hear it.
Thanks,
Steve
On the Setup screen:
- What is "Geoid fix"? It is defaulted for "No". If "Yes" is selected, its default value is 48.0. How will "No" vs. "Yes" impact the application's behavior? What does "48.0" represent?
- Target distance: default value is "100". One hundred what? Feet? Yards?
- Coordinates: Default is "Snapped". How does selecting "Snapped" vs. "Real" affect the application's behavior?
