No voice for drive instructions

Well, the volume is on and I can here all other messages and music jingles. But no sound when instructions are given.
What should I do?

In the menu screen, is the icon to the right of the volume bar muted? In other words, is there a line through the mouth icon? If so, tap to unmute it. Also, make sure the icon to the left of the volume bar is also not muted.
