New TomTom One 125

I just got my new tomtom for christmas yesterday. I noticed that it doesn't announce street names, and i was wondering if there is any way to change this? Maybe with a different tomtoms firmware/software? Also, if there are any other hacks please let me know...i love to tweak/hack stuff lol.

The 125 is not capable of handling computer voices. It doesn't have the processing power or memory space needed. Sorry.

Ok well is there a way to change the fonts for the street names so they are bigger?

Not that I know of......the font size is largeri n the 4.3" screen models, but that won't be of assistance to you. Again, sorry.

For spoken street names, you would need a model with "text to speech" capability. This is in units such as the:

One 130 S
One XL S
XL 330 S
Go 630

...and yes, the "S" is important since there the One 130 and One XL don't have TTS, while the One 130 S and One XL S do have TTS.
