Having been using my Tomtom Rider410 connecting to my old HTC10 since 2017, but the battery is dying on it. So I have a new HTC Desire22pro. They both see each other, they both say "connecting".... Then I wait, and wait, and nothing seems to be happening. See photo. Any thoughts on what I can try?

I have a feeling that there might be something in the new phone that is somehow stopping it.....But they both do say connecting.

FYI. I managed to fix it this evening. I installed the "Auto Hotspot Tethering" app shown on the attached screenshot No.1. You then have to allow all of the 4 permissions, but it now works OK. The in app shot of bluetooth tethering switched on, is shown in screenshot No.2. I thought you might be interested, so thought I'd give some feedback. regards. Robbie.
