GO Essentia 6 causes Phone to ping.

I have paired my GO Essential 6 to my Samsung Galaxy S22 phone. Now the phone pings about every 30 seconds when the SatNav is on, even when the car is stationary. Can anyone help me turn off the pinging? Thanks

Strange, have you tried unpairing and then re-pairing?

Success! I could not work out how to re-pair (I am not tech-savvy) but your prompt made me look at the Bluetooth connection options. I turned off 'Data for Traffic and other services' and 'Smartphone messages' and the pinging has gone. I may have lost something in addition to the pinging, but I'll settle for that.
