Has anyone tried connecting the Droid Erid to the Rider 2?

Tomtom has a good track record with handsfree on HTC devices, so I'd bet the Droid Eris should be no problem. Still, you should test/confirm, just walk into a Verizon store with your Rider and ask them to test with a live model.

PLUS services won't work. The Droid Eris (and all Android devices to date) do not support Bluetooth DUN for data. Bluetooth DUN is required for PLUS services.

That is exactly what I did. I paired the Eris to the TomTom myself and it works fine.

I have an Eris, and tom tom go 730... they sync for voice only, but not for data... were you able to sync for data service as well, or only as speaker phone?

Data won't work (I meant data when I said "PLUS Services" below).

The Droid Eris doesn't support the older Bluetooth DUN profile that Tomtom uses for data.

I just noticed this app. It may get Tomtom PLUS services working on Android, let us know how it goes if you end up trying it.
