One plus one android phone issue

Hi. I have the one plus one android phone.
I downloaded the new TomTom go app yesterday, then downloaded the Western European map.
When the download had completed, I ran TomTom.
All that happened was that the app. continually tried to start, and was told to come to the forum for help!
Can you please?
