ok... this is the first time using it. I took it out of the box, plug it in, and type in my destination.
It was good. It got me to where I need to go to with very accurate results.
There were couple of differences from the test model of the very first Magellan and Germin which I used to have. One thing I liked about the Magellan is, when you get to your destination, it actually give a "ding" that you are there. I don't know if the new Magellan still have the feature though since my mom's friend try out the test model of it when they were renting a Hertz rental car.
The Germin actually tell you that you reach your destination on the left or on the right.
TomTom One XLS does not do any of those but it shows on the display when you get there and what side it will be on.
Anyway, I will play around with it some more and I will post again.
Overall, I liked it.
