- TomTom Model(s)
- TomTom GO Expert and TomTom (both Android)
Over the years, I reported many issues and improvements to TomTom. They used my reports for years, but in the last few months they haven’t been confirming reported issues anymore.
I lost hope, but today I installed a new browser and tried to log in to all the websites I visit. I can log in to Mapshare only as a guest.
I read many posts and, AFAIK, TomTom has two sources of maps. The first one is used in TomTom GO Expert, the second one in TomTom (formerly AmiGO).
Why don’t they use only one source?
At least in my part of Europe (Slovenia, Austria, Italy, Croatia), it looks like TomTom (AmiGO) has better maps. I stopped reporting issues on Mapshare, and now I’m asking: should I report issues/changes on OpenStreetMap? It looks like TomTom now uses those maps as their main source (I know they have more sources).
What is your opinion?
