Good evening everyone, do you know what's going on with Mapshare Reporter?

Since 27 March 2025 is report still pending?

Among other things useful places and street names and so on pending …

No idea. My reports used to be handled quickly, but I have them showing "Pending" back to early March 2025.

Not sure when TomTom stopped doing anything with mapshare - I have a report showing as pending from 10th January.

I can only confirm this. My reports have been pending since February.
Now I have stopped reporting. If we work for free for TomTom, it would be nice if they respected our work.

I have two pending, one from November and one in December 2024.

shared with the TomTom customer care and they have forwarded this to the team dealing with mapshare errors but, they do not get any feedback if the job goes over 72hours.
72 hours is the cut off from the CC team and the updating team.

i have told them that if I see no improvement in the next month, I will not be sending any more error reports to them. As you say Kacnje, we do it for free and get no thanks what so ever.

I’ll use my phone with Waze in the future when my device is no longer receiving updates - as that is super being FREE.

First, we are paying for the product. While using the navigation, we are helping them to improve it - for free.
And yes, we get no thanks for this. If they have problems, they should say it.
I have stopped improving the map because this makes no sense.

An update.

My first mapshare update has been excepted from November 2024.
The wrong dirt track and a ford crossing has now been amended and I’ve checked it to make sure. Nearly seven months I’ve had to wait.
Now for the December 2024 update to be carried out.

My December error has been accepted now too.
6 months later, the maps have been updated which is too long in my opinion!

I use to report installation and removal of semi-permanent mobile speed cameras ("Flexflitsers") via Mapshare and these reports are usually accepted within 24 hrs. All other reports take much longer.

They tend to ignore the obvious mistakes on the map, dismissing reports. I've noticed that it is much easier to add a new POI than to make updates, delete duplicates, or correct incorrect locations. This approach increases the mess on the map.

I have many corrections now pending normally a couple a month, as I find and address thats wrong I update it, but it is frustrating that they are not being looked at.
