When I look at the mapsettings.cfg file using POIEdit I see 2 entries for every favorite I entered. If I rename a favorite just 1 entry gets the new name and the other remains un-touched. 1) Anyone know why there are two entries? 2) Anyone know why only 1 entry gets the new changed name?

    Thanks

    Keven

Don't know why you're seeing duplicates but the application found here supposedly removes dups and more.

Any chance you told the unit to navigate or find any of them after you entered them? It holds recent destinations, not just favorites, and if you rename a favorite, the "recent destination" copy doesn't change.
