Maps - Argentine

First of all, I will introduce myself. My name is Sebastian and I'm from Argentine.

I recently bought a Tom Tom 720 GPS in an store in Spain. The told me that there were maps for Argentine to upload in my new GPS, but when I came back to my country there was nothing like it. I only have a question and I hope you could be very honest with me.. Is there any chance that in this year or the next year Tom Tom will release maps for Argentina. I need to confirm this in this days because if the answer is not, I would give this as a present to a friend of mine, living in Europe.

Seriously, no way to know. You might look up the contact info for TomTom's Corporate office and inquire from them directly. If there are any plans, they may share them with you. No one here would have a clue.

As far as I know there is only one SA country yet covered: Brazil. Even the map of Brasil is not easy to find. I have no idea if other countries are scheduled for mapping in the short term.
