Map Symbol Explanation

During a recent trip from Washing DC to Detroit, I noticed an odd map symbol that didn't appear to correlate to an actual physical structure. The symbol appeared like an ice cream cone with a yellow scalloped top. I can't find an explanation for this symbol, thoughts?

I initial suspected it as a Shell gas station, but there wasn't a Shell gas station at the location. Ideas?

It it looks like a Shell icon, then it probably was a Shell station. Perhaps the gas station closed a few months back and Tomtom hadn't removed it from the map yet.
