Location of Entitlement to Updates

I have a current entitlement to map and speed camera updates and wonder how this information is made available to TomTom Home when I update my device.

The reason that I ask is that I sometimes use my PC to update the device and sometimes my Laptop.

If the information is located on the device itself, it presumably wouldn't matter which computer is used to update the device. However, if the information is recorded on the computer then I might have a problem.

Can anyone confirm whether using different computers to update would affect my entitlements?

As long as you log into Home with your same email address/password, updating your unit with whatever you're entitled to won't be a problem, whether it's by using your computer or notebook.
