loading contacts on a verizon lg 8500

Has anyone successfully loaded their contacts list to the tt from a verizon lg 8500?

i just get an error that it can not load

I had the same problem. An easy fix is to make a new list with notepad and copy it to the tomtom.

Backup your tomtom before you do this as a precaution

1. Open notepad (or any simple word processor that does NOT insert formatting characters) and type in the name and phone number with quotes around each.

"John Smith" " 3456789"
"Mary Smith" " 14065551212"

2. Save file as contacts.txt

3. Connect tomtom to computer and copy the file to the contacts directory.
