Line-out on GO 510 iPod Connect?

I just bought the ipod connect cable for my GO510 and it connects to my ipod and functions great.... EXCEPT that the only output I'm getting is through the GO's built-in speaker. I have gone through the Speaker Options and chosen all combinations of output options for the voice prompts and the music and nothing changes. My only solution thus far has been to connect my car stereo up to the ipod's headphone jack and just use the GO as a glorified remote control. I'd like it all integrated so the voice prompts come through the car speakers, and so I don't have annoying, tinny, time-delayed music coming out the built-in speaker while I listen to my music.
Help?

That's been broken on my 910 since 7.x. You have to go back to the version 6 software for it to work.
