How up to date should the maps be?

I just paid for a new map for my Start 25 and went through the download process. According to Tom Tom connect I have UK version 10.75.
Been out for a run and I found two instances of local major road alterations at least five years old which my device did not recognise correctly. These are junctions where a roundabout has been altered to a normal traffic-light controlled junction. The device still gave instructions to navigate a roundabout. I hope I haven't wasted £35.

Ours usually go the opposite way here - intersection to 'roundabout' (aka traffic circle).
I have to report these regularly. Evidently no one in your area has ever gotten round (pun intended) to it.
