how do i get the maps i have paid for?

i paid for the latest 7.10 usa and canada maps as i have just moved to canada from the UK.
my tomtom one V2 has a 2gb card.

i bought the maps from the UK web store using my family's UK address.

but when i opened the tomotom home software it was in the download list.

to get round this i used the store built into the tomtom home software to buy the maps again and emailed tomtom for a refund of my first ones. but i noticed the ones i got the 2nd time are an older version of the maps

ive looked through posts on here saying the nwer maps are not for the TT one. but will work with a 2 gb card which i have.

so basically how do i get the newer maps? and then i can get the refund on the older ones instead.
