TomTom Model(s)

I live in Australia and have had my TomTom for about 7 or 8 years. Lost the Box, but the Serial No starts with ZE. Have just returned from a trip in which I was having connectivity problems and isolated the problem to a faulty lead. However when I got back onto my Drive Connect it has lost my Map off the device and now won't allow me to load a new one. The online Chat support doesn't recognise the Model No I enter, and there's no phone number to call. Can anyone help me please?

If you connect your GPS where the number starts with ZE it is a GO 620 so to reinstall the map empty the Mydrive connect cache to restart the installation.

On the other hand there is a very old GPS which starts with ZE which is declared at the end of its life by Tomtom and no longer possible to make updates.

Since covid there is no longer a telephone, you must contact Tomtom by chat or email.

Unfortunately, the ZE prefix was 're-used' by TomTom as Willy notes.
This could be a more recent of the GO 620, Go Essential, Go Professional, Go Supreme group -- or a very old One 30 model. However, if you are accustomed to using MyDrive connect to update your device, it won't be the old One 30, since that used TomTom Home to update.

What happens if you don't use MyDrive connect, and instead, connect your device to a network with WiFi? If you go to "Settings" "Maps" "Add a Map", does it now show a list of maps available to you?
