TomTom Go Professional 620 Map Help

Hi guys I have a TomTom Truck go pro 620 that I use daily. I noticed last week that when I got on the A14 at Huntingdon it didn’t recognise the road and made out I was in a field. It’s all up to date with nothing left to add. I’m using the Europe Truck map that’s installed but on the MyDrive app says it’s expired but there doesn’t seem to be an update. My friend has the same unit but his is ok on this road. Any ideas please guys.

It doesn’t look like it has a card in. In about it says installed maps Europe Truck v1030.9532 54 Months old (released 04/2019)

As noted before, the use of "card" to mean "map" in an English speaking forum can be a bit confusing.

Have you loaded MyDrive Connect on your PC, connected your 620, and checked there for maps?

Yes it says all up to date

Ive just had another look and its saying expired and it wants to charge me £39.95 to renew? Ive only had it since July

I'd be surprised if it was very "new" in July '23. That model was discontinued a bit ago, and the map date on yours indicates it was built quite a long time ago.

I don't know about the Trucker 620 in the UK, but the regular car 620 came with lifetime maps (no charge for updates).
I'd suggesting a chat with TomTom.

Hey guys so to follow up on this I spoke to them yesterday and they told me to do a factory reset, well that made things worse and lost my truck maps altogether. Another chat today and seems I didn’t have any truck maps or lifetime updates pushed to my account. All sorted now and up to date on 11.15 07/2023

Very good. When 11.20 is released, let us know if the update is offered. Be aware that the truck release is sometimes a week or two after the regular car map announcement.

I have the same problem... I wanted to update this map and when there was no option through sat nav/pc I deleted this map and tried to download updated one, but it's not in maps database :/ Now I haven't got even option to use truck map because Europe map doesn't support trucks at all.

How did you sort it out ?

Clear the mydrive connect cache and check if a new Map is available.

If no map is offered to you, contact Tomtom customer service so that they can assign a new map to your account.
