I've had my tomtom one since September 07 and have finally purchased the updated maps. Now with access to map corrections I figured it was high time to find a tomtom forum.
It sure is a huge difference with the update, there was a section of US 70 the the east bound lanes were shown crossing the west bound lanes then back and then shot across to route 40. Imagine if you will the animator that suffers a heart attack during Monty Python's Holy Grail during the Cave of Caerbannog animation and the scribbles he made. That is what route 70 between Frederick and Hagerstown Md looked like.
Since the upgrade virtually all of my problems, (unit resetting itself while looking for a town it didn't have, displaying Maryland's zip codes in Texas) have gone away. The one that persists, is I am unable to turn my Tomtom on unless it is plugged into my car charger or computer. Even when it is fully charged, it will not power on.
