HD Traffic For US On The Way

GpsPassion has found the TomTom HD Traffic module on the FCC website. See towards the end of this thread. http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=100734

GSM 850/1900 and GPRS speed only.

While no official announcements have been made this is further proof that they are in the midst of at least beta testing the service here. They may be holding back on details. In a few week the photos and manuals will be on the FCC site and we'll have some more info.

This will usher in a new era of real time accurate traffic info and connected gps systems for POI searches etc.

Coincidentally... or perhaps not... it looks like Amazon's price on the Dash Express has dropped from $299 to $253.48. Perhaps anticipating competition?

Hopefully, they [TomTom] get their shyt together and work out
