Having some problems with my maps please someone help me

Hi My house address keeps showing down the street and the mad has a error like I went to a friends house and he lives on sunset ave but it says Hall st that dont make any since so tomtom needs to fix these errors asap! I didn't pay for a system that doesnt work so someone help me.

Specific map addresses are often not precise for many roads in many areas.....for all brands not just TomTom. (My house shows as being 8 houses away from me).

You can make corrections (proper address location, rename streets, etc. using mapshare corrections).

sitting at the end of your driveway, mark your location as either "home" or a favorite. it'll then always take you right back there.

as for the street error, simply use mapshare to rename it. you'll see the correction on your unit.
