ONE XL
Is there a kit out there to do this? I've looked on tomtom.com but didn't see anything.

I was going to just make my own hardwire kit, but ive heard that the tomtom doesnt run off of 12v.

any input?

I just bought a cigarette adapter socket from WalMart for $3 and hardwired that it, then used the DC adapter that came with TomTom One. Tucked it behind the dash and ran the wire along edge of windshield. All nice and neat and out of sight and only spent $3.....

Hardwire

My XL-S requires 5VOLTS
The power adapter(cigarette lighter plug) has a 5V Regulator Circuit to reduce
your normal vehicle voltage(13.8-14.2V).
That is the reason not to remove the plug for hardwire, hardwired a receptacle to a switched circuit so the TT will power down when I remove the ignition key.
