Since the TT1 LE uses a mini usb connector for charging, will any generic mini usb car charger work? I want to hardwire my TT1LE, but would rather not chop up the stock power cord if I don't have to.

I am investigating this myself. On my TT ONE car charger it states that the output is 5V 2A. AFAIK, most phone usb chargers only output 5V 500mA. The Garmin mini usb is 5V 1A IIRC.

I do know that my ONE will not work with the Motorola-compatible chargers.

Thats what I was going to use :(
