GO910 Zoom feature

I have noticed that when I zoom out on the map, while driving regularly, it will automatically zoom back in after a few seconds. I searched the forums and could not find a way to keep it at the zoomed-out level. Is there a solution to this problem. Thanks in advance.

Can't wait for the reply, my 510 was doing this also. I would like for it to stay zoomed in when I zoom it, and allow me to zoom back out on my own or when turned on.

I have a PDA/phone with TT6 and now a 910 and it happens on both. I think this is something automatically done. My old Garmin 2610 had an auto zoom and manual zoom.

Yes this is automatically done. Sorry, there is no feature or option to disable this.

I've read statements that it will be available 'after the summer', but no concrete dates yet.

the new navcore 7 will have plenty of options. here is the option when you select automatic zooming.
