Go910 itinerary planning

I set up an itinerary with waypoints and a destination. I save the itinerary after making sure it's the route I want to take. Later, when I load this saved itinerary it has the waypoints and destination but the route is not the same. I have to Select "Travel Via" then "point on map" to force it back on route. Why won't it save the route that I selected "Save Itinerary" without having to go back and force it back on route.

Am I doing something wrong?
Travelling North from US 61, west of Zachary, La to Lake Bruin State Park, north of Saint Joseph, La.

1st. wp is Samuels Rd (US 61)West of Zachary, La.
2nd. wp is Sibley, MS
3rd. wp is Vidalia, La
4th. Destination is La Lake Bruin SP 3180766-3530

Using 6.525 and North America 6.65 also the latest version of Home
Windows Vista Ultimate with 3 GB ram
(3) HD's (250 GB / 250 GB / and 300 GB Personal Media drive.

I've not used Iteneray Planning a lot but I have the feeling that the save function only saves the waypoints and destinations but not the routes itself.

There are perhaps several ways to get from Waypoint A to Waypoint B. You may have to add some more waypoints.

If I understand your description, it takes you from A to B, but not by the route you expected (?).

Or does it miss the waypoint altogether?
