Go expert plus not connecting to gps

Hi all , for some reason my Go expert plus no longer connects to gps, it says i am in London when I am not and time is a few hours off, i have replaced with a brand new unit which is also doing the same, tried my old 6250 and same issue

Is the icon showing your location grayed out?

It is also possible that your windshield is blocking the passage of the satellite signal.

It may take longer to receive a GPS signal if your GPS has been turned off in one location and turned back on in another location.

If possible, try to go to an area with a clear view of the sky and leave your GPS on.

It may take 45 minutes to 1 hour for the GPS to pick up a satellite signal.

It is greyed out, I left the other one one for around 3 hours, thought it was broken and got it exchanged, this one the same

Trying to reset the device is turned on the GPS outside the vehicle.
Are you connected to your Tomtom account on the GPS.

everything is connected, my drive, wifi, bluetooth, the time also states -7 hours so at a loss now

6250 all ok now but expert still same

I have the same problem. I'm in Belgium so the unit is called "Go Exclusive", works for about 3/4 journeys, then logo goes grey . Third unit should arrive tomorrow, no expectations

left it on overnight and finally had connected by the morning, hope is lasts longer than the last one, very expensive paperweight

Any chance you have a vehicle with a heated or athermic (metal oxide) windscreen? These can play hell with GPS reception as they attenuate the signal significantly.
