6250 expert

Hi i have 6250 with built in sim ,I want to upgrade to 6250 expert but I does the expert have built in sim for live traffic, I don't want sat nav that uses smart phone for live traffic

There is no GO Expert 6250.


There is only GO Expert with a screen of 5 / 6 / or 7 inches is it does not have a SIM card must be connected to a smartphone to receive Tomtom traffic.


If your GO 6250 still works, keep it.

I have both and I can honestly say that I 100% regret “upgrading” to the expert. Yes, the bigger screen is much better, however usability has suffered immensely. Apart from no in-built sim (not a massive issue for me), the is also no option to import Places of Interest onto the device. TomTom are fully aware of how strongly their loyal customers feel about this, as the reversed this decision when they tried to introduce it previously. This time, however, they seem determined to stick with their original decision.
So stick with the 6250!!!
