GO Discover comes with regional maps pre-installed by default.
The Tomtom must not be connected to the computer via the USB cable, otherwise the "Add" option will not be highlighted.
To add a map from another country, just go to
Main menu > setting > Maps & display > Downloaded maps > in the right corner you will see the option > Add
GO Discover does not have a slot to insert a micro-SD card.

Thankyou, I have Europe and the USA on it, but when I go to install the updates (via wifi) says not enough dosce, remove unwanted maps ! But need both Europe and the USA when I go on holiday soon, Europe to the Airport, then the USA ! Looks like it might have to go back :-( did have Premium X, but it was so unresponsive
and Also, when I bought it, it said Go Discover, yet when I log into Tom Tom it says its a Go Expert .... guess its the same thing ?? so 'upgraded ' !

The serial number prefixes are the same for the Discover and Expert, and that's what MyDrive connect uses to detect model type. No worries there.
With this device, you can remove individual countries or states and add individual countries or states. So first, try adding just individual U.S. states that you will need to your device. If that's still not enough space, delete any European countries that you do not need before trying to add the U.S. states.
