So I have desided on a Go camper max for use in ower motorhome but can anyone tell me the difference between the Go Camper Max and Go Camper Max 2nd gen?

There is no difference between the GO Camper Max 1st and 2nd generation.

So why is the 2nd gen cheaper?

How do you know it's a 1st or 2nd generation?

It seems to me that the 1st generation should no longer be available for sale.

The only difference in price is the more or less options on the models.

They are the same 2 since they have the same software version number
It is better for you to buy the 2nd generation GO Camper Max rather than the other one.

perhaps the USB connection is different? I had a camper max (using micro usb) but traded it for the go exclusive (which has an usb c connector, as well as more features).

The GO Camper Max also has a USB-C connector.

Strange, mine had a micro usb connector... perhaps an older version?

Maybe it was the GO Camper Tour (same model as the Max) that you bought that doesn't have a USB-C jack?

Normally yes, the Max camper has the possibility of bypassing low emission zones.
