I got my Tom Tom about 18 months ago.

I was using it normally up to yesterday. This morning however I get absolutely no response. The battery is 'full' - the light showing green when connected to the cable in the Car and on my computer.

I have tried the re-set pinhole button without any luck

So whatever I try, I get absolutely no response when trying to switch it on.

Just gives the impression that it has given up.

Is it possible (or even advisable ) to open the unit up?

And the on/off switch is getting depressed properly? In other words, it hasn't become 'stuck'?

I wonder what hole you stuck a pin into? (I really hope it wasn't the microphone on the front right-hand edge).

The Go950 does not have a reset button. You do a reset by holding down the power switch for about 20 seconds until you hear the drum roll sound.
