GO 550 live/Samsung Galaxy s19000

Can anyone tell me how to get my Samsung Galaxy S19000 to connect to my GO 550 LIVE ? Every time I try it gets past acceptance of the 0000 password, shows 80% complete on the screen then my phones tells me TomTom has declined the pairing.
My phone's firmware is up to date as is the TomTom's software.

It's no help to you, but I can't find that model on TomTom's compatibility list.
