go 300 locks up at startup

When I start my GO300 the unit boots to the open (GO) screen and goes no further. I have tried to put the software from my other GO300 into the unit but it comes up with the No Maps Found screen. Any ideas of what I can do to get my unit to work?

Switching software between 2 units, even those of the same model is not a good idea.

Delete the loose files in your unit using Explorer. NO folders or their contents.

Connect to Home and it'll offer an application. Install and see if that helps.

Try resetting the unit after the application installation.
