How come when you have your map on screen for your destination it is as if you need a 'back button' to get back to previous page to: for example change route. Is it me am I making hard work of it?

Not sure I understand what you're asking for....???

If you are on the normal "Navigation" display, you just tap the middle section of the screen to get to the main menu and from there you can go anywhere.

Tapping one of the three different sections of the status bar gives a specific functions such as changing from 3D to 2D, repeating the last instruction or showing the route overview.

If there is a specific function you want to get to quickly, many models have the "Quickmenu" feature to put additional buttons on the left of the screen too.

What model do you have and what do you want to achieve? It might be possible. Be very specific about what screens you are referring to.
