I have a Tom Tom Go 300 which had been stored over the winter in a damp
shed and now when I turn it on all I get is a blank white screen. Is it a
software problem or something more serious?

Can you try a reset on the unit? Can the contents of the unit be seen when connected to the computer & you use Explorer? Does the unit need charging?

Thanks for a swift reply. I tried a reset but that made no difference and I was not able
to download any info from the unit as it came up as some kind of error. The battery seems
to be fully charged as I left it switched on after failing to do anything with it and the screen
was still lit a few hours later. I think I'd better bin it. What do you think?
