TomTom One 3rd Edition- Faulty Screen

Hi- I have a almost 2-year old TomTom One 3rd Edition 1 GB (4N01.0003) that has a faulty screen. The issue is is that it appears that every other row of pixels is not being displayed, and shows up as white. Additionally, if you look at the screen at an angle, there appear to be three white "columns" of pixels (like a vertical bar graph). I've attached a scanned image of the screen. The unit has been very well cared for. No scratches or marks of any kind.

You could try a software fix like resetting the unit or running the Clear flash tool found here but it looks like a hardware problem and I suspect any repairs would be equal to or more than a new unit.....

did you manage to repair your Tom Tom as I have the same problem with mine ?

similar to my TomTom One, but my GPS has upper 1/4 screen looks normal.
